Sarma Works aka Sarma Krumins

Born in London, raised by Latvian parents, working currently in her mother’s old studio in East Northamptonshire. I am a glass artist and painter inspired by myth, memory and the living world. Drawing from folklore, natural forms and personal histories I create work that feels bothe elemental and intimate. I work slowly and by hand, allowing the materials to guide the process. Fire, glass and pigment become vessels for story telling- objects shaped by time, touch and imaginations.
