Sarma Work is from the hands of Sarma Krumins.

Born in London, raised by Latvian parents, working currently in her mother’s old studio. Sarma explores the mysterious and elusive world of glass. Drawing from myth, memory and unseen forces that shape our existence. Her practice is rooted in an intuition and shaped by stories of deep ancestral wisdom, and the living spirit of the land.

Sarma believes that she is always a student and perpetually studying new techniques such as lampworking, and casting. She allows for a material to be her guide, and the journey becomes her destination.
