I have a love for archaeological programs, history that has been preserved in the earth, and the magic of finding out about our history. When making this I realised this piece reminds me of Roman designs, yes they did have blue glass - mixing the glass with a copper or a maybe iron would have given them lots of shades of glass to play with!
These necklaces are crafted from start to finish by hand. I personally make every glass bead, then design and assemble each piece with care and intention. The natural variations in handmade glass ensure that every necklace is unique. The result is timeless, wearable art created with patience, precision and love for the process.
